Anwil Włocławek lost 86:92 against MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza. The Rottweilers had a chance to close the game in the fourth quarter, but didn’t make it and lost after an overtime.
Anwil started the game well, leading 43:32 after the first half. Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players shared the ball (they had 13 assists, while the opponents 5) and were effective.
The second half brought a change in that matter. The rivals reduced all the difference and took the game into an overtime. Thanks to good efficiency in the free throw line they built an advantage. The Rottweilers made too many mistakes, couldn't respond and had to accept the loss.
Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard finished with double-double – he had 21 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
