Anwil Włocławek lost the quarterfinal of Suzuki Polish Cup 2022 against King Szczecin – despite the fact the Rottweilers had huge advantage, they couldn’t keep it and lost 94:98.

Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players started the game a way better that a few days ago. They were strong in the defense, share the ball and after the first half led 58:35. It seemed like there’s no chance they will lose today.

Unfortunately, due to lack of concentration and tiredness, the opponents responded. Anwil’s players were losing their advantage point by point. Eventually, after an overtime, in which the rivals were more effective, the Rottweilers had to accept the loss.

Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard had 25 points, seven fouls drawn, three assists, rebounds, steals and one block.
