The Rottweilers reduced big difference and in the end even came out on top – unfortunately in the last seconds King Szczecin was more effective. The rivals won on their home arena 82:76.
Anwil had problems from the beginning – couldn’t find the right rhythm, made some simple mistakes (17 turnovers overall) and after the first half the opponents led 50:36.
Second half brought changes – the Rottweilers were tough in the defense and stopped the rivals. At some point event took the lead (76:75) – unfortunately, that wasn’t the last word from King’s players. They responded with efficiency and end up winning the game.
Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard had 26 points, five assists, four rebounds and a steal.
