Unfortunately, Anwil Włocławek will not be an independent Energa Basket Liga leader, at least for now. Today the Rottweilers lost with Grupa Sierleccy Czarni Słupsk 77:83 on the road.
Anwil started the game well, leading 15:4. The opponents are known for their commitment. No advantage is enough against them – they responded immediately and at the halftime led 40:39.
The second half was equal. In the crunch time Anthony Lewis took the control – in the fourth quarter he had 17 points, made the most important shots and helped the rivals to win.
Ziga Dimec was Anwil’s best scorer. The center had 18 points, seven fouls drawn, four rebounds and a steal.
