Anwil’s fans made today’s game special. Atmosphere was on a great level. Both team played really well and it is fair to say, that this was a game of the season so far. The opponents started good and led 19:5, but the Rottweilers came back. The first half ended with close result (45:47).
Thanks to astonishing performance by Jonah Mathews, Anwil took control of the game. The fourth quarter was almost perfect for Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players – points made behind the arc, dunks, great defense. A minute before the final buzz Anwil led 101:86 and the winner was already known.
Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard had a game of his life – he finished with 38 points (8/12 behind the arc, 15/20 from the field), five assists, three rebounds and a steal.
