That was a really thrilling game – Anwil Włocławek won against Enea Zastal BC Zielona Góra and opened 2022 in a good way. The Rottweilers are on the top of the Energa Basket Liga’s table.
The hosts started the game weakened by some injuries, but from the very beginning they played hard and tried to hide shortcomings. After the first half they were down by only one point (43:44).
In the second half the Rottweilers stuck to their game plan and held the difference, even though the last seconds were nervous for them. Led by the veterans, Kamil Łączyński and Szymon Szewczyk, who combined scored 43 of 83 total team’s points, Anwil won on the road.
Kamil Łączyński was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard finished with a career-high 26 points (10/18 from the field), five assists, four rebounds and a steal.
