North, South or centre – doesn’t matter. Anwil Włocławek wins against every rival standing in its way. Today the Rottweilers won after a tough game against Asseco Arka Gdynia 83:78.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players couldn’t find the right rhythm – they had 12 turnovers in the first half (16 overall). Asseco Arka Gdynia used that and led 37:36 after two quarters.
Little has changed in the first minutes of second half. After some time Anwil built a small advantage. In the crunch time Luke Petrasek finished the fast break, Jonah Mathews made two free throws and the Rottweilers secured sixth win in a row.
Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard finished with 23 points (9/14 from the field), he also had five rebounds, two assists and steals.
