Anwil Włocławek played hard, fought until the last seconds and won against its eternal rival – WKS Śląsk Wrocław 80:74!
First minutes of the game showed, that if Anwil wanted to win, the Rottweilers needed to work on concentration and efficiency. At some point of the second quarter the opponents led by 17 points (41:24).
Fortunately, Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players stepped up. James Bell played hard, Jonah Mathews couldn’t be stopped – in the fourth quarter the Rottweilers made 9:0 run (72:64), built the advantage and get the fifth win this season.
Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard finished with 17 points, two rebounds, assists and a steal. It’s also worthy mentioning Luke Petrasek, who also had 17 points, seven rebounds, an assist and a steal.
