The first victory this season went to the Rottweilers' account! Anwil Włocławek played hard on the road against Polski Cukier Pszczółka Start Lublin and defeated the opponents 75:64.
The fact that it was the first game of the season made both teams a bit nervous. Despite that, the Rottweilers were vigilant in the defense (only 10 turnovers during the whole game) and after the first half led by three points (36:33).
Nothing really changed in the following parts of the game – Anwil played hard and controlled the situation. Two minutes before the final buzz Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players made a 8:0 run (75:61) and secured the win on the road.
Kamil Łączyński was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard finished with 15 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals.
