Tuesday, 09 March 2021, 19:49, Sebastian Falkowski

PGE Spójnia Stargard beats Anwil Włocławek 77:67. The hosts knew how to use their strengths, and while the Rottweilers were committed to the end, they eventually had to accept the defeat.

Both teams played slow – Anwil and PGE Spójnia had problems with the effectiveness. However, the opponents made 15:0 run in the last five minutes of the second quarter and thanks to that built 12-points advantage on the half-time (39:27).

The Rottweilers tried to bounce back, but the rivals controlled situation. 40 seconds before the final buzz PGE Spójnia made shot from the distance – at that moment Marek Łukomski's players had 9-points advantage (73:64) and the game was over.

James Washington was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard had 19 points, eight fouls drawn, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. It is also worthy mentioning Ivica Radić, who finished strong in the paint. The center had 17 points, 17 rebounds (Energa Basket Liga best result this season), an assist, a steal and a block.
