Włocławek Basketball Club informes that two polish players – Rafał Komenda and Damian Janiak, complete roster for the 2020/2021 season.
Health problems and shortages in the roster forced Włocławek Basketball Club to make another transfer moves. That being said, 22-year-old Rafał Komenda and 31-year-old Damian Janiak joined the team. Both players were part of Anwil Włocławek in the past.
Komenda spent in Włocławek two and a half season. He played in 32 games of Energa Basket Liga and Polish Cup. Later on he played in Inowrocław, Pelplin and recently in Sharks AWFiS Port Gdynia. In six games he had average 18,5 points and 9,7 rebounds.
Janiak began his career in Włocławek – in the 2008/2009 season he played in one game for the club. Then he moved to the teams from Skierniewice, Toruń, Łowicz and Jaworzno, from 2013 he regularly played in the back of Energa Basket Liga (Pruszków, Stargard, Kutno, Kołobrzeg, Słupsk). He began current season in Inowrocław, in December he moved to Pogon Prudnik (10,1 points, 5,2 rebounds, 4 assists).
Both players signed deals to the end of this season.
