Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz slightly better than the Rottweilers in the derby game. Anwil Włocławek fought until the very end, but the rivals made less mistakes and won in their home arena 99:96.
Anwil started the game slow – the opponents led 9:0 after a few minutes. Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players were inaccurate and Enea Astoria used that – the rivals had 54 points in the first half.
The Rottweilers wanted to fight for the win – they had 7/14 from the distance in the fourth quarter and were only three points behind the opponents. In the last seconds players from Bydgoszcz remained cool and took the win.
Kyndall Dykes was Anwil’s best scorer. The shooting guard had 30 points, six rebounds, five fouls drawn and four assists. Shawn Jones finished strong in the paint – he had 16 points, 17 rebounds (Energa Basket Liga best result in this season), six fouls drawn, two blocks and a steal.
