The Rottweilers didn’t give up until the last seconds and after phenomenal ending won the derby game! Anwil Włocławek won against Polski Cukier Toruń 77:75 and still have chance for the quarterfinals.
The opponents had control from the beginning – they led 30:19 after the first quarter. Fortunately, during the following parts of the game they only got 45 points.
Two minutes before the final buzz the rivals had 7-point advantage (75:68). Thanks to Ivan Almeida, who get one point from the free throw line, then made two shots from the distance and Kyndall Dykes, who scored the bucket in the paint Anwil completed the 9:0 run and took the win.
Kyndall Dykes was Anwil’s best scorer. The shooting guard had 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and a block. Ivan Almeida finished strong – he had 14 points, eight rebounds, eight fouls drawn, seven assists and a steal.
