Anwil Włocławek with the first win in the FIBA Europe Cup Bubble! The Rottweilers fought hard and even though BC Dnipro challenge them, they still won 74:71.
Both teams started the game slow – during the first quarter Anwil couldn’t get points in the paint. Nevertheless, after 20 minutes the rivals led only 36:35.
Anwil stepped up in the third quarter. Thanks to great defense and 9:0 run the Rottweilers built advantage. The opponents fought till the last second, but Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players were focused and secured the home win.
Ivan Almeida was Anwil’s best scorer. The shooting guard finished with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, steals and blocks. It is worthy mentioning Kyndall Dykes – he had 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals.
