It took a while, but finally the Rottweilers have what they wanted – Anwil Włocławek with an eighth win of this season in Energa Basket Liga! Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players beat GTK Gliwice 87:81.
The Rottweilers showed good energy at the beginning – after the first quarter they led by five points (22:17). The opponents believed that they can overcome Anwil in their home arena and played hard – they won third part of the game 28:18 and aimed for even better ending.
Fortunately, Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players were cold and effective during the last minutes. When Kyndall Dykes made crazy shot and Curtis Jerrells didn’t miss any of his three free throws, the Rottweilers could start celebrating the win.
Ivan Almeida was Anwil’s best scorer. The shooting guard finished with 27 points, nine fouls drawn, six rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block. Curtis Jerrells had strong debut – the point guard finished with 24 points, three assists and two rebounds.
