The comeback after the quarantine not happened to be easy. Anwil Włocławek lost to the host team, Trefl Sopot, 83:96. Ivica Radić was Anwil’s best scorer.
Anwil, led by the new coach Przemysław Frasunkiewicz, started the game with good effort. Both teams focused mostly on the offensive part – after the first half Trefl had two-point advantage (47:45).
The opponents caught rhythm after the third quarter. They found use in Anwil’s mistakes. The Rottweilers made 14 tournovers – Trefl had 23 points from them. The rivals followed-up this with 22 assists, built an 18-point advantage (95:77) and won the home game.
Ivica Radić was Anwil’s best scorer. The center finished strong in the paint – he had 22 points, seven rebounds (five in the offense), two steals and an assist.
