Włocławek Basketball Club informs that Przemysław Frasunkiewicz became the new headcoach of the Rottweilers. The deal is signed until the end of the 2021/22 season.

New year, new change. In the first game of January the Rottweilers will be led by Przemysław Frasunkiewicz, who spent the last five years as the headcoach of Asseco Arka Gdynia.

The deal is signed until the 2021/22 season, without any clauses.

41-year-old Frasunkiewicz has been gaining coaching experience since 2016, when he took over the team from Gdynia. He knew that place well, as he spent there the last three seasons of his professional career.

The club's policy has been changing during the years. For two seasons Frasunkiewicz could work not only with polish players and during that time the roster contained big names, such as Josh Bostic or Robert Upshaw. The result of these transfers and the team's work was bronze medal in the 2018/2019 season - the club's first since 2012.

Frasunkiewicz comes to Włocławek with a clear task, as the Rottweilers are still in the fight for play-offs. The schedule is not easy, but the new coach is used to work hard. His first game as Anwil's coach will be the one against Trefl Sopot.

At the same time, Włocławek Basketball Club informs that the former headcoach Marcin Woźniak and his assistant Grzegorz Kożan will remain in the club. Together with Frasunkiewicz and another Włocławek-born coach, Kamil Sadowski, they will constitute the coaching staff.
