The American center with Kosovo passport, Shawn Jones became the Anwil’s player for the second time! Włocławek Basketball Club and a player signed a deal until the end of this season.
In his last game for Anwil (in the Polish Cup final) he scored 27 points and added five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Then he left Włocławek to play for the national team, where he unfortunately suffered an injury. Couple of days later the season was terminated because of the pandemic.
Włocławek Basketball Club is happy to announce, that Shawn Jones re-signed and will represent the Rottweilers until the end of ongoing season.
28-year-old center played for Anwil in 26 games. In Basketball Champions League he averaged 10,7 points, 7,5 rebounds and 1 block, while in the polish Energa Basket Liga 11,7 points, 7,8 rebounds and 1,2 blocks. During his career he also represented teams from the Spain, Israel and Italy.
Włocławek Basketball Club completes the formalities related to the fastest possible arrival of the player.
