Marcin Woźniak’s players had problems with concentration from the very beginning – they made some technical and unsportsmanlike fouls and couldn’t find their rhythm. Despite this, at the halftime they led 51:49.
Polpharma Starogard Gdański forced 22 fouls during the game. Anwil’s opponents had 26/31 from the free throw line, while the Rottweilers – 9/11. From the score 89:86 the rivals got 10 points in a row and closed the game.
Ivan Almeida was Anwil’s best scorer. The shooting guard had 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks and a steal.
