Third win in a row for Anwil Włocławek! Marcin Woźniak’s players were more confident and effective at the end of the game, what led them to 93:78 win against WKS Śląsk Wrocław in Hala Mistrzów.
From the beginning the Rottweilers wanted to show that they can beat their historic rival and one of the best league teams. Unfortunately, the opponents played good in the paint (where they scored 30 out of their 49 points in the first half) and led by eight points.
The second half brought more aggression from the Anwil’s side. They didn’t allowed rivals to get into the central part of their defence. Marcin Woźniak’s players were dominant behind the arc (16/35 from the distance), shared the ball really good (25 assists) and eventually won the third home game in a row.
Ivica Radić was Anwil’s best scorer. The center had double-double – 24 points and 11 rebounds (six of them in the offence). He added four steals and three assists. Ivan Almeida showed good shape – the shooting guard had 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block and no turnover in nearly 35 minutes.
