Anwil Włocławek won sixth game of the season in the sixth consequtive home game. Today the Rottweilers beat Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players, Asseco Arka Gdynia, 86:78.
From the very beginning Marcin Woźniak’s players showed that they want to play hard and fast. The opponents responded with the same attitude and because of that the game was even – Asseco Arka Gdynia led only by one point at the halftime (42:41).
The Rottweilers dominated on the rebounds (45:34 overall), but the rivals made less mistakes (they had 16 turnovers, compared to 19 made by Anwil). Marcin Woźniak’s players used their experience and in the crunch time kept things cool. In the last minutes of the game they won 17:12 and secured the win.
Ivan Almeida was Anwil’s top scorer. The shooting guard had 24 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and a steal. Also, it is worthy mentioning McKenzie Moore, who finished with triple-double. The point guard had 22 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and a block.
