Anwil Włocławek won for the fifth time this season. HydroTruck Radom put a pressure on the Rottweilers, but Marcin Woźniak’s players were consistent and defeated their rivals 97:86.
The game started better for the Anwil’s side – thanks to great performance of Ivan Almeida, the Rottweilers led 24:19 after the first quarter. The shooting guard had seven points, three rebounds and an assist during that period.
Later the players from Włocławek increased the tempo and built 15-point advantage (56:41). Although the opponents narrowed the difference, Anwil played consistently and didn’t let the rivals to take a surprisingly victory. The Rottweilers played as a team – they won 49:26 on rebounds and had 22 assists overall.
Ivan Almeida was Anwil’s best scorer. The shooting guard had 29 points (9/16 from the field), seven rebounds and fouls drawn, three assists and a steal.
