Anwil Włocławek better in the derby game for the first time this season! The Rottweilers used their strenghts againts Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz and convincingly won 90:71.
Anwil wanted to end the losing streak. The game started well for the hosts, who led 23:9 after the first quarter. 12:0 run in the second quarter, followed by strong defense and efficiency, helped Marcin Woźniak’s players to built 30-point advantage (48:18).
Despite the rivals caught good rhythm at the beginning of the second half, the Rottweilers were able to maintain their dominance. Anwil played as a team (25 assists overall), fight in the paint (44:33 win on the rebounds) and secured another win at home.
Deishuan Booker and Rotnei Clarke were Anwil’s best scorers – both had 16 points. The first one added nine assists and a steal, the second one seven assists, four rebounds and one steal.
