MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza players were ambitious and fought till the end. Anwil Włocławek couldn’t keep the concentration and lost 101:98 after overtime.
After a calm first half of the game, the Rottweilers started to play faster and more aggressive. Thanks to that they built a 17-point lead (51:34). At that point Anwil had less turnovers than usual (13 during the whole game) and that looked promising.
Nevertheless, Alessandro Magro’s players kept their heads up and showed desire to win. Lee Moore scored from the distance and equalize the game seconds before the final buzz. In overtime MKS played more consistently than Anwil and took the first win of the season.
Ivica Radić was Anwil’s best scorer. The center had 18 points, five rebounds and one steal. McKenzie Moore finished strong, almost reaching triple-double. The point guard had 16 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists and a steal.
