Basketball Wloclawek Club informs Marcin Wozniak became the permanent headcoach till the end of the current season.
After releasing Dejan Mihevc last week, Basketball Wloclawek Club has been presenting a challenge of hiring a new headcoach. The first game without a Slovenian didn't mean the game without a coach, as Marcin Wozniak, previous assistant coach, temporarily took his office.
Today, October 5th, Basketball Wloclawek Club officially anoints Marcin Wozniak as the headcoach of the Rottweilers team till the end of the current season. 39-year-old Wozniak is the first coach from Wloclawek formally announced as the permanent headcoach, not a temporary one.
- Marcin has been leaving a mark in our club for years. Since his first duties back around 10 years ago, he has been working so hard and collecting necessary experience that, without any doubts, will help him in his new role. There are many games ahead of us and I hope, there are big and great emotions ahead of us - says the president of the board, Arkadiusz Lewandowski.
- I am truly honored. It is a special moment for me because I have been to this organization since I can remember my work as a coach. I experienced a lot and I want to continue to give nothing but 100 percent to every single practice, game and what it takes in between. Hereby I want to thank the board for the chance and now... It is time to get back to work - smiles Marcin Wozniak.
Grzegorz Kozan, previous second assistant, has been nominated for the post of the first assistans automatically.
