Saturday, 03 October 2020, 21:44, Sebastian Falkowski

Anwil Włocławek played phenomenal in the fourth quarter and despite the Legia Warszawa pushed hard until the end, the Rottweilers won 86:78. That was seventh league win in a row against this rival.

Anwil Włocławek started the game strong, leading 19:14 after the first quarter. The Rottweilers had eight assists in that period, which was only one less, than in the whole previous game. Unfortunately for the Marcin Woźniak’s players, the opponents found their strenghts and after 20 minutes led 42:32.

Players from Włocławek opened the second half of the game with better efficiency. They finally scored some 3-pointers (0/13 in the first two quarters). In the last part of the game they made astonishing 17:0 run (from 60:66 to 77:66) – the advantage they built was enough to take the third home win this season.

Ivan Almeida was Anwil’s best scorer again. The shooting guard finished the game with 24 points, 15 rebounds, nine fouls drawn, five assists and a block. It's worthy mentioning the performance of Ivica Radić, who had 23 points (10/11 from the field), seven rebounds, two steals, one assist and a block.
