Anwil Włocławek fought for the victory until the last seconds of the game against Pszczółka Start Lublin. Unfortunate, at the end the Rottweilers were too nervous and lost 74:78
Players from Włocławek played quite good from the beggining of the game. After the second quarter the opponents led only by 4 points – 35:31. That was a really even fight.
Thanks to cooperation between Deishuan Booker and the frontcourt, Anwil built an 11-points advantage (63:52) and it wasn’t much likely that the Rottweilers will let the rivals grab the win out of their hands. Unfortunately, Dejan Mihevc players stopped playing accurately, made some mistakes and what seemed to be a nightmare, unfortunately became reality.
Deishuan Booker, alongside with Krzysztof Sulima, were Anwil’s top scorers. The point guard finished the game strong, almost reaching triple-double. He had 14 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds, seven fouls drawn and two steals. Sulima scored 14 points as well, adding five rebounds, two assists and a steal. It’s worthy mentioning the performance of Ivica Radić, who finished the game with double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds.
