Anwil Włocławek’s inaugural victory! After a phenomenal game, Dejan Mihevc’s team defeated Arged BMSlam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski 90:71. Deishuan Booker was the best scorer for the host.
As it was in the last game, Anwil started really well, leading 34:25 after the first quarter. In the next minutes the pace slowed down, but the Rottweilers kept the advantage.
The rivals wanted to decrease the hosts' lead, but Dejan Mihevc’s players responded with better efficiency. Anwil limited the number of turnovers (17 overall, compared with 27 in the last game) and thanks to that built almost 20-points advantage 60 seconds before the final buzz.
Once again, Deishuan Booker was Anwil’s top scorer. The point guard finished with 26 point, seven fouls drawn, five assists, two rebounds, steals and a block. Ivica Radic finished strong in the paint where he had 13 points and 15 rebounds.
