Artur Mielczarek got called for a try-out in the early August after it turned out he will no longer be a player of HydroTruck Radom. An experienced small forward needed only a couple of practices to convince the coaching staff that he is worth signing a deal. Eventually, after short negotiations both terms have come to terms of one-year contract.

Mielczarek, 36, debuted in Polish ccompetition in 2004 and from that moment, he represented nine different teams including two foreign. Last two seasons he spent in Radom where he could not show his skills and advantages due to some interior team problems, averaging 7,6 ppg. and 3,4 rpg.
